Abren Belay, MD

Abren Belay is a board-certified doctor of internal medicine, specializing in hospital medicine. He is a hospitalist, which means that while you're a patient in one of El Camino Health's hospitals, he takes over care from your personal doctor. He makes sure every patient gets the individual focus he or she needs, and coordinates care among clinicians from many disciplines.

Dr. Belay feels well-suited for hospital medicine. His experience working in multicultural environments helps him better communicate with more patients. He's keenly interested in each new case whether the medical challenge is large or small, and he works well with doctors from all different specialties.
