Angela Chen, DO

Angela Chen, DO, is a primary care doctor who specializes in family medicine. She provides preventive care and diagnoses and treats a wide array of health conditions, such as asthma, cold and flu, hypertension and general skin conditions.

Dr. Chen takes the time to build relationships with patients, so she can provide holistic care that supports them fully. Motivated to help people maintain good health, she explains, "I believe that preventative medicine is just as important as disease treatment."

She is happy to be a part of the El Camino Health team and appreciates its focus on collaboration and providing innovative services.

Dr. Chen was born and raised in Taiwan and lived in the Bay Area during her undergraduate years. She graduated from Touro University Nevada College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2017 and chose to specialize in family medicine because she enjoys managing various health conditions and helping patients learn and grow. She values evidence-based medicine and preventative medicine.

Outside of work, Dr. Chen enjoys exercising, dancing, traveling and spending time with her friends and family.
