Dr. Anup Singh is a board-certified radiologist with fellowship training in vascular and interventional radiology. He uses the newest imaging technologies to find disorders inside blood vessels and treats them with needles and catheters rather than large incisions.
As a minimally invasive specialist, he has special interest and experience in uterine fibroid embolization (closing off the blood supply to a tumor), kyphoplasty (a procedure for treating spinal fractures), diseases of the vein, peripheral arterial revascularization (to restore adequate blood supply), radiofrequency and varicose vein ablation (to remove obstructing tissue or close a vein) and TIPS (a procedure for rerouting blood flow to treat liver disease).
Dr. Singh believes every patient deserves a highly trained, experienced doctor capable of providing the latest treatments. He listens and communicates with his patients to educate and involve them in their own health, so medical decisions can be made collaboratively. He feels strongly that doctors who work in a collaborative setting deliver the best care, and he appreciates the team approach of his fellow doctors at El Camino Health.
