The doctor was provided detailed information and took the time to explain what he was looking at, what it meant and what mattered. He demonstrated a genuine interest in ensuring I understood my lab results.

During my visit, the oncology department team, including Dr. Arum, took the time to answer all of my medical questions about the upcoming breast surgery. They explained what I should expect before and after the procedure and made sure I understood how my ongoing treatments will continue. I shared that this is my first breast surgery, and they responded with patience and clarity as I asked many questions. We also discussed the importance of having a caregiver after surgery, and I explained that I may need a backup plan if my sister is unable to assist me. The team reassured me that support options are available and encouraged me to plan ahead so my recovery can go smoothly. I left the appointment feeling informed, supported, and more confident about the next steps in my care.
