Dr. Caroline Rassbach specializes in pediatric hospital medicine. She's honored to be able to work with children and their families when they are in need of hospitalization. Dr. Rassbach likes working with children because they approach life with hope, enthusiasm and curiosity. She also enjoys getting to know families and learning from their diverse experiences and backgrounds.

Dr. Rassbach strives to include patient and family preferences in management plans, and to use evidence-based plans of care. She partners with nurses and other staff to provide the best care possible for her patients.

Dr. Rassbach is based at Stanford Children's and also provides care at El Camino Health's hospitals. In addition to working with patients, she's involved in pediatric education as the associate program director of the Pediatric Residency Program and the fellowship director for the Pediatric Hospital Medicine Fellowship at Stanford.
