Cesar Molina, MD

Cesar R. Molina, MD, FACC, is a cardiologist who treats a variety of heart conditions. He has a special interest in preventive cardiology and clinical pharmacology. He also has vast experience treating heart complications in pregnant women who have undergone cancer treatment.

Passionate about helping his patients, Dr. Molina explains, "I pay attention, listen, examine, and use logic and science to diagnose the condition and treat it."

Dr. Molina also serves as the medical director of the El Camino Health South Asian Heart Center. The center's focus is helping members of the South Asian community reduce their risk of developing heart disease and diabetes.

Dr. Molina joined the El Camino Health team in 1990. He says, "It is an excellent hospital with outstanding medical and support staff."

Over the course of his career, Dr. Molina has been honored with numerous awards. Some include the Special Congressional Certificate of Recognition, U.S. House of Representatives; Certificate of Commendation, California State Legislature; Asian-American Hero Award, Santa Clara County; Western States Affiliate Health Equity Award, American Heart Association; National Research Service Award, National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute; and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Scholarship.

Dr. Molina is fluent in English and Spanish.

Outside of work, he enjoys going to the gym, playing tennis and spending time with his daughters and grandson. Dr. Molina also teaches meditation.
