Dieter Bruno, MD Urology and Urologic Surgery in Redwood City, CA

Dr. Bruno specializes in advanced, minimally invasive laparoscopic, the daVinci Robotic Surgical System, and urologic malignancy, erectile dysfunction, male andropause, kidney stones, vasectomy, overactive bladder and urinary incontinence. He also treats infertility, pelvic pain disorders, BPH and general pediatric urology issues. Dr. Bruno was on the faculty at Duke University Medical Center and East Carolina University School of Medicine. He initiated the prostate cancer brachytherapy program and the urologic robotic program at East Carolina University School of Medicine. He also performed the first urologic robotic surgical procedure (nephrectomy) and second robotic prostatectomy in the state of North Carolina. He is an instructor in advanced robotic surgical techniques and brachytherapy. He proctored urologists in robotic techniques in North Carolina and California and currently teaches courses for Intuitive Surgical.
