Dr. Jaideep Iyengar is a board-certified and fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon who specializes in knee, hip and shoulder conditions.

He has extensive experience in both sports surgery - such as ACL, meniscus and rotator cuff repairs - and joint replacement, including total and partial hip, knee and shoulder surgeries. In addition, Dr. Iyengar has expertise in performing robotic-assisted hip and knee replacements with the Mako robotic-arm system.

He also provides general orthopedic care for fractures, arthritis, sports injuries and other conditions. His bio-engineering background and advanced training in minimally invasive techniques, such as robotic surgery and arthroscopic surgery, set him apart from other surgeons. With minimally invasive techniques, Dr. Iyengar can provide same-day outpatient joint replacement of the hip, knee and shoulder. He also can provide platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections.

Dr Iyengar took the time to answer my questions, concerns kindly with patience. We had started 5min after the start of the appt time for a 15min appt. When I asked how much time we had, he said I'm here to answer your questions. He must've spent 20-30min answering my questions & reassuring that it was okay to go on my trip & then do the surgery. He even provided helpful tips to start using my non dominant hand to get used to using it prior to surgery. Thank you

Dr Iyengar did a great job of addressing my concerns. I was in the most pain 20/10 and when I asked about pain medication, he ordered diclofenac 50mg tablets. After taking this on the 1st night, I had immediate relief. I was suffering with this pain for a month with no relief from the medications prescribed from PCPs.
