Dr. Jessica Bruynell is a board-certified emergency physician. She earned her undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree in public health and biology, as well as her Doctor of Medicine degree from Saint Louis University. She completed her emergency medicine residency at Stanford Health Care. At El Camino Hospital, she currently serves on the Quality Assurance Committee.
Dr. Bruynell is interested in quality assurance review, positive case-based review and teaching methods, and women in medicine.
Dr. Bruynell chose to go into emergency medicine because she believes it is important that everyone has access to care regardless of their background or the time of their symptoms. She values quality care, patient understanding of their disease process, and efficient care in the emergency department.
Dr. Bruynell loves to enjoy the outdoors in California. She and her family spend time hiking, finding new coffee spots, skiing, camping and going to the beach.
