Jonathan Engelhardt, MD

Dr. Jonathan Engelhardt is a board-certified emergency medicine physician. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in exercise science/physiology as well as his medical degree from University of Arizona, Tucson, AZ. He completed an emergency medicine residency at Maricopa Medical Center, Phoenix, AZ.

Dr. Engelhardt believes in promoting patient knowledge and understanding in their current disease process. In doing so, he gives each patient autonomy and their own ability to make decisions that are best for their interests. He recognizes each patient's individuality and seeks to promote their complete understanding of each diagnosis. He seeks to expedite care or provide reassurance, in addition to providing up-to-date education for each diagnosis, as needed.

Dr. Engelhardt enjoys the intellectual, emotional, educational and physically demanding requirements of emergency medicine. Since starting as a fully trained, board-certified emergency physician over the past 20 years, has experienced the ever-changing landscape in healthcare and its improvements over this period of time. He looks forward to continuing cutting-edge changes in healthcare diagnostics, in both precision and accuracy, to give each patient expedited diagnoses to allow for their improved health.

In his free time, Dr. Engelhardt enjoys spending time with his wife and two boys, growing grapes and making wine, running a small business with his wife, acting as his son's assistant soccer coach, and spending time with family and friends on the beach.
