Jonathan Hu, MD

Jonathan Hu, MD, is a urologic surgeon who diagnoses and treats conditions related to the urinary tract and male reproductive system. He provides surgical and nonsurgical care for a variety of conditions, including kidney stones, enlarged prostate, low testosterone and erectile dysfunction, as well as kidney, bladder, testicular and prostate cancers.

Born at El Camino Hospital, Dr. Hu brings a unique perspective as a native of this community. His commitment goes beyond medical expertise and extends to building enduring relationships based on trust and shared decision-making.

Driven by a passion for helping people, Dr. Hu explains, "Witnessing the improvement in my patients' quality of life motivates me to stay at the forefront of urologic advancements and deliver the highest standard of care."

Outside of work, Dr. Hu enjoys spending time with his wife and family, including his two dogs, a Labrador and a Dachshund. He also has a deep fascination with anything ocean-related - whether it's surfing, scuba diving or simply learning about the mysterious marine world.
