Katerina Shetler, MD

Dr. Katerina Shetler specializes in evaluating and treating functional disorders of the digestive system. These motility disorders include swallowing problems, severe acid reflux, chronic cough, belching, gastroparesis (inability of the stomach to empty food normally), nausea and vomiting, chronic diarrhea, abdominal bloating, constipation, fecal incontinence and recurrent small intestinal bacterial overgrowth.

Dr. Shetler establishes a close working relationship with each patient and family. She spends time listening to their concerns, provides detailed explanations of tests, procedures and diagnosis, and works with people to create goals of care. She uses the most up-to-date tools to evaluate symptoms and the latest technologies and research findings for treatment. She is excited about new treatments that offer hope and help alleviate the struggles of living with these conditions.
