Kevin Cameron, DNP, FNP-C, is a nurse practitioner specializing in general cardiology. He works with people to prevent, diagnose and manage a wide range of heart conditions.

Kevin's approach to care starts with building a meaningful relationship with his patients. He wants them to feel safe, heard and understood as a whole person, not just their diagnosis. "I've always felt a strong sense of purpose in helping others," he says. "As a nurse practitioner, it's incredibly rewarding to get to know my patients and help them achieve the best possible outcome and a better quality of life."

El Camino Health's mission closely aligns with Kevin's commitment to offering compassionate, evidence-based care. Beyond treating illness, he appreciates that the organization promotes health and wellness throughout the community.

During graduate school, Kevin led a quality improvement initiative that provided emergency preparedness education and simulation training for nursing students in a resource-limited area in southern India. He is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, which recognizes academic excellence and leadership in nursing.

In his free time, Kevin enjoys practicing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, hiking and exploring local coffee shops with his family and their French bulldog, Hugo.
