Meena Sathappan, MD

Meena Sathappan, MD, is a board-certified pediatrician with over 32 years of clinical experience. She cares for children from birth through young adulthood, managing all aspects of pediatric health. Her clinical interests include developmental pediatrics and pediatric mental health, with a strong focus on early identification, thoughtful guidance and family-centered care.

Dr. Sathappan provides personalized, relationship-based care in a warm and welcoming environment. She shares, "I'm committed to building long-term partnerships with families and supporting each child's growth and development."

Dr. Sathappan earned her medical degree from the Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) in India. She completed her residency in pediatrics at Columbia University in New York.

After beginning her career in Arizona, Dr. Sathappan moved with her husband and children to the San Jose-Evergreen area in 2000. She remains actively involved in the local community.

Dr. Sathappan is fluent in English, Tamil, Hindi and Telugu.
