Priya Jayachandran, MD, FACP, is a medical oncologist who specializes in breast cancer. She's dedicated to helping each patient achieve their best possible outcome.

Dr. Jayachandran first joined the El Camino Health team as a high school volunteer and was later a hospitalist here. Following time as an academic oncologist, she returned to El Camino Health in her current role. Throughout her career, Dr. Jayachandran has received several honors, including the Press Ganey Top-Decile Patient Satisfaction Performer nationally (2023, 2024), USC Gold Star provider with 5/5 rating, and the American Society of Clinical Oncology's Conquer Cancer® Merit Award (2021).

She is fluent in English, Spanish and Tamil.

Outside of work, Dr. Jayachandran enjoys art and classical Indian dance. She loves animals and fosters kittens with the Humane Society.
