Dr. Shaun Cho specializes in cardiac electrophysiology, a subspecialty of cardiology which focuses on rhythm disorders of the heart. He treats all types of heart rhythm disorders, including atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter and supraventricular tachycardia (SVT). He performs procedures such as cardiac ablation, and pacemaker and defibrillator implantation.



Dr. Cho knows that heart rhythm diseases can be scary and uncomfortable. He feels it's critical to spend time with each patient to understand his or her symptoms and goals of treatment. Dr. Chos is committed to thoroughly explaining the disease process, diagnostic tests and treatment options. He also believes in the importance of carefully listening to his patients so he can provide personalized care.



Dr. Cho enjoys working at El Camino Health because of its state-of-the-art technology and top-notch staff, including doctors, nurses and technicians who provide care with a very patient-centered philosophy. Outside of the hospital, his free time largely revolves around his two children. He enjoys participating in after-school sports activities with his kids, as well as golfing, hiking, camping and attending baseball games.
