Tiffany Sia, MD

Dr. Tiffany Sia is a surgeon who specializes in treating women with cancer or pre-cancers of the female reproductive tract. She is a Bay Area native and left California to attend medical school at Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons, where she fell in love with women's health and was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society and received the Thomas M. Cock Prize for Excellence in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Columbia University. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at New York-Presbyterian Hospital - Columbia University Irving Medical Center where she was recognized as an Outstanding Resident in Gynecologic Oncology by The Society of Gynecologic Oncology and received a Recognition of Excellence in Minimally Invasive Gynecology from the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists. She completed fellowship training in Gynecologic Oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center where she received the Conquer Cancer Merit Award from The American Society of Clinical Oncology in 2024. She has over 28 peer-reviewed publications, 15 oral presentations at national medical meetings, and has co-authored 3 book chapters on gynecologic cancers. She previously ran a clinical trial investigating multimodal stress reduction techniques in patients with ovarian cancer undergoing surgery (National Clinical Trial #05429970), which is still ongoing.

She is actively involved in the Society of Gynecologic Oncology and has served on numerous committees involving research, communications, and wellness. Her clinical interests include enhancing outcomes after surgery, genetic testing and molecular profiling of ovarian and endometrial cancers, combating frailty, and incorporating integrative medicine techniques into clinical practice. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, listening to audiobooks, and spending time with her husband and two sons.
