Angela Hsu, MD

Angela Hsu, MD, is a gastroenterologist specializing in general gastroenterology (GI), including colorectal cancer screening, inflammatory bowel disease and hepatitis B. Passionate about GI and liver cancer prevention, she performs exams to help detect risks early.

In her approach to care, Dr. Hsu takes time to listen closely to patients and address their concerns. She educates them about the underlying causes of disease and shares practical tips they can apply in their daily lives to prevent illness. "When patients understand their health conditions, they are better equipped to make informed decisions that support their long-term well-being," she says.

Dr. Hsu has received several honors for her work. These include the University of California, Irvine GI Fellowship Award and the American College of Gastroenterology Presidential Award.

When she isn't working, Dr. Hsu enjoys climbing, running, baking and spending time with her family.
