Iulia Giuroiu, MD

Iulia Giuroiu, MD, specializes in medical oncology. She diagnosis and treats solid organ cancers using medications, such as chemotherapy, targeted drug therapy and immunotherapy.

Dr. Giuroiu helps patients manage all nonsurgical aspects of cancer care and works closely with surgeons, radiation oncologists and colleagues who specialize in palliative care therapies and integrative therapies. She takes time to educate patients about their conditions and their full range of treatment options.

Understanding that she is meeting patients at one of the most trying times in their lives, Dr. Giuroiu strives to offer empowerment and support. She says, "I remain mindful of the patient behind the diagnosis and offer compassionate, evidence-based care."

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends and playing with her daughter.
