Ju-Lu Huang, FNP

Ju-Lu Huang, AOCNP, is a nurse practitioner in oncology and palliative care. She's dedicated to helping patients heal and find relief from pain and suffering throughout their cancer journey. Drawing on advanced training from Yale and Duke University, she combines evidence-based medicine with compassionate care.

Known for her empathy, Ju-Lu takes time to listen to each patient's unique needs. She advocates for the best, personalized treatment options. This way, patients and their families feel empowered as they navigate the challenges of cancer treatment and recovery. "It's never just about the disease - it's all about the person," she says. "I am here to guide them through one of their most difficult journeys."

Ju-Lu joined El Camino Health for its commitment to excellence and outstanding cancer outcomes.

Beyond her clinical practice, Ju-Lu has a background in advanced scholarly research. She studies how thoughtful communication strategies help patients tap into their inner motivations, especially during long, difficult treatments. Her goal is to help them heal by offering a therapeutic presence.

She's fluent in Mandarin Chinese.

Outside of work, Ju-Lu enjoys practicing Reiki, a Japanese healing art that supports wellness by channeling life force energy. She also has a strong interest in medical aesthetics.
