June Zhang, MD

June Zhang, MD, is an allergist and immunologist. She treats a wide range of allergic and immune conditions, including hay fever, asthma and eczema. She is especially passionate about caring for infants and young children with severe food allergies, when early diagnosis and intervention can make a meaningful difference.When she isn't working, Dr. Zhang enjoys photography and tending her large plant collection. She has volunteered at her local animal shelter and has cared for several bunnies over the past 20 years.

She is fluent in Mandarin Chinese.

Dr. Zhang is a Fellow of the American College of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology (ACAAI) and a member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology (AAAAI). She is also a member of the California Medical Association, San Mateo County Medical Association and South Bay American Medical Women's Association.

Dr. Zhang hopes to be a long-term partner in her patients' health journeys. One of the most rewarding parts of her work is helping reduce reliance on medications. She offers alternative treatments, such as allergy immunotherapy, to improve symptom control.

In the clinic, Dr. Zhang takes time to build trust with patients and families. She helps them better understand their conditions and provides effective solutions to improve their quality of life. "People often underestimate the impact of allergic diseases, but they can have a major impact on well-being," she says. "As an allergist, I act like a detective to identify the underlying causes of symptoms and recommend the best path forward."
