Taking a holistic approach to care, Sayaka partners with her patients to support both their physical and mental health. She works hard to create a safe space where patients feel comfortable discussing anything that affects their well-being.
Born in Japan and raised in Sunnyvale, CA, Sayaka is fluent in both Japanese and English. She is excited for the opportunity to practice medicine in her hometown, where she can provide care to the same community that helped raise her.
Outside of work, Sayaka enjoys reading, hiking and spending time with her husband.

Even if patients could not explain things logically and well, the words and attitude were used to elicit their condition, and even the smallest details were listened to and accompanied by attentive support.

Sakaira was informative after my EKG and contacted my Cardiologist to confirm that going ahead of the op was okay which I appreciated.
