Dr. Singhal is an excellent oncologist and explained previously why I should choose mastectomy for various reasons. Now she continues to see me to explain my lab results.

Dr Singhal is the best.

Dr. Singhal appears very thorough, and I appreciate this very much. I did feel that the visit felt a bit rushed. I got the impression that the doctor knew what data she wanted and what steps she needed next, but I didn't feel like the technical basis was explained to me very well.I am generally comfortable with most people's accents, but the combination of rapid speaking and content of specific unfamiliar medical terms made it difficult for me to feel I understand the specifics of what was being explored. That said, I am a scientist and took Dr Singhal's prescription of thorough testing to mean that she is very data-driven and wants a body of data to move forward. I am comfortable with this. However, I would have left more satisfied if the visit had taken a bit longer and the doctor discussed the context more slowly and clearly to me.The short version of this is I convinced myself that this path was the right one, but everything happened so quickly that I left without feeling I was part of the decision.

Dr. Shiva Singhal is a great dr, very easy to talk with and she explains all the details very clearly listens to all the concerns patiently, also she Is empathetic and connects easily with patients.

Simply the best. I have had plenty of doctors in my 73 years, and DT Singhal is truly the best. Shares all the data, explains everything, never makes me feel rushed. She pays attention to issue and is happy to coordinate with others. I'm alive BECAUSE she paid attention and prescribed a bone marrow biopsy before it was to late

I was diagnosed with Colon Cancer during a routine colonoscopy on a Thursday afternoon. The following Monday I was in Dr. Shiva Singhal's exam room and met with her and the cancer team. They quickly ordered a Pet/CT and a CT with Imaging and connected me with Dr,. Shyamali Singhal the Surgeon. Within less than three weeks from my colonoscopy Dr. Shyamali Singhal removed my cancerous tumor (Stage 1 and no lympn node involvement) at El Camino Hospital. I spent 5 nights at El Camino Hospital. Because these two doctors and the teams at the El Camino Cancer Center and Hospital provided such good medical care, my cancer was removed before it could spread and it saved my life. I now check in with Dr. Shiva Singhal every three months. She explains everything to me in an understandable format and has been extremely kind and professional. Same for Dr. Shyamali Singhal the El Camino Cancer Surgeon. Thank you El Camino for helping so many receive wonderful care.

The doctor was very good in explaining the CT results and suggested next steps. She answered all our questions and said she would speak to the urologist and primary doctor to coordinate the treatment for this stage four cancer of the prostrate, colon and bones.
